Control Valve Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Perform maintenance, repair, and testing of valves and related equipment.
-Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with valves.
-Read and interpret electrical schematics and valve drawings.
-Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate valve performance.
-Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement valve maintenance plans.
-Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on valves to ensure optimal performance.
-Document all work performed, including repairs, adjustments, and replacements.
-Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on valves.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
-Experience with AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software.
-Familiarity with E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) systems in an industrial setting
-Understanding of hydraulic systems and distributed control systems (DCS)
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
-Ability to use precision measuring instruments for accurate valve calibration.
-Knowledge of high voltage safety procedures in an industrial environment
-Experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
