HOUSTON - November 9, 2017 - Great Western Valve, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its operations in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Oklahoma City service center will service and support all of the company's primary service lines including control, pipeline and relief valves as well as electric actuation, instrumentation and field service. The company is already working in the area and the new service center will be fully operational in early December.
"Our recent expansion to Odessa, Texas has been a huge success. Leveraging customer relationships and opening another service center near additional customer sites makes sense", said Jim Reilly, Great Western Valve President and Chief Executive Officer. "We have numerous master service agreements with midstream companies and long term relationships with most petrochemical and refining companies and we look forward to helping our customers in Oklahoma with local resources".
Dave Ricketts has joined the company as Oklahoma City Operations Manager. Mr. Ricketts has many years of OEM experience in field service, shop repair, quality, training, and most recently branch management. The Oklahoma City service center will be equipped with high-hook overhead rail cranes, a Section IX certified weld shop, full machining capabilities, assembly, VR, electric actuation, final testing cells and a paint booth. "I have serviced the Oklahoma market for over 25 years and have seen the growing need for a comprehensive and responsive valve service center", said Kim Dunn, Great Western Valve Senior Account Manager. "So many of our customers have requested we open a facility in Oklahoma, I am happy we are here and ready to help".
The location will be fully equipped to handle all repair, remanufacturing, and field services for control, pipeline, and relief valves as well as electric actuators, instruments and positioners. The service center is located at:
